James Kellogg is the Cold Atom Lab Launch Vehicle & ISS Integration Lead in addition to being a Lasers & Optics System Cognizant Engineer. He has extensive research experience in cold atom physics systems development including atomic clock and atom interferometry technologies for laboratory and space applications. He is the recipient of a NASA Exceptional Public Achievement Medal for design, anomaly resolution, and application of advanced laser optic techniques in support of Cold Atom Lab assembly, launch, and operations. He also received a NASA Group Achievement award as the Technical Lead in the development of the DARPA Integrated Micro Primary Atomic Clock Technology (IMPACT) physics package. He received a B.S. in Physics with a Minor in Astrophysics from The University of Colorado, and an M.S. in Physics from the University of California at Irvine.
