Dr. Maren Mossman (she/her) is the Clare Boothe Luce Assistant Professor of Physics at University of San Diego in the Department of Physics and Biophysics. Her research involves the creation, manipulation, and investigation of dilute ultracold quantum gases, with interests in driven out-of-equilibrium quantum hydrodynamics, quantum simulation, quantum liquids, and few-body physics. Additionally, Dr. Mossman's research goals involve training undergraduate researchers to work with quantum technologies. She received her PhD in Physics from Washington State University in 2019, working under the guidance of Dr. Peter Engels. She has been involved with CAL since 2014, beginning as a graduate researcher.
